Landing Gear (1/2)
The entire landing gear, including gear doors, has been created in an object file. Wheels have solidity and shape, especially the nose-wheel, with its three-spoke rims and bulging tyres.

The front wheel strut is telescopic. The main gear has leading and trailing suspension arms, push-rods, fulcrums, telescopic struts and dampers.

Even this is a gross simplification of the real design, but still a huge upgrade on the standard “lolly-pop”.
